Day 01

Love is coming to Lima! (D)

On your arrival at Lima (5 mts/16.4 ft), you will be kindly greeted by our View Peru representative who will capture the first of many lovely and bizarre photos. We will accompany you in our exclusive and private vehicle to your selected hotel and review your itinerary on the way.

Once you have arrived, you will be surprised by a romantic room, prepared exactly the way you dreamt it to be. The perfect start to your unforgettable honeymoon!

By the evening, you will be carried away to a delightful and unique restaurant where a special meal has been prepared for you to indulge in exquisite Peruvian cuisine and look forward to your exciting escape ahead.

Day 02

Romantic and adventurous stroll around Lima where Love will be literally on the air! (B, L, D)

Start your day with a nutritious breakfast, ready for your cycling tour that will start in Miraflores (79 mts/259.2 ft). Ride around Miraflores Central Park (also known as Kennedy Park), then on to the Love Park near the coast. 

Ride along the coastline until you reach Barranco (64 mts/209.9 ft). Wander around the Municipal Park and Chabuca Granda Park, then on to the Bridge of Sighs. Legend states that if you and your partner can hold your breath as you cross the bridge holding hands, you can make a wish that is destined to come true!

Pedal on southward to Pedro de Osma museum, home to the greatest collection of Peruvian Virreinal art. Then move on to Chorrillos district (37 mts/121.4 ft), where you can learn more about the fishing terminal and Grau boardwalk.

After your romantic adventure, it is time to enjoy lunch in a very cozy environment, at one of the best restaurants in the city.

Now you can go paragliding over the skies of Larcomar. Your tour starts with a short safety briefing, managed by highly qualified instructors. Soon enough you will be in the air with an expert, so enjoy the wonderful views over the Miraflores coast! 

After this exciting activity, you will be taken back to your hotel to rest if you need to. Alternatively, take the opportunity to go for a short walk and explore on your own. 

End the day with a flourish, at your reserved table at a first-class restaurant. Enjoy spectacular views of Lima city, adding a romantic touch to your delicious dinner.

    •  The paragliding activity depends on climatic conditions and the actual hours when there are good winds, it can vary every day and cannot be predicted. Nevertheless, it is recommended to do the activity around 14:00 – 15:00 pm.
    • The best time to go paragliding in Miraflores is from May to January, when the temperatures are cooler and it is still windy. 

 

Day 03

Let's bring love to the Sacred Valley (B, L, D)

The next adventure commences early on day three. You will be picked up from your hotel after breakfast, and transferred to Lima’s Jorge Chavez Airport for your flight to Cusco (3400 mts/11154.9 ft). When you land, Our professional guide will greet you, and take you to the Sacred Valley.

Your first stop is the exhibition of South American camelids. Learn about and interact with vicuñas, guanacos, alpacas and llamas. After this, move on to the picturesque town of Pisac (2972 mts/9750.7 ft) where you will be treated to a fully organic lunch made from products grown locally. 

Next, take a brief tour of the famous Pisac craft market. Interact with some of the locals and invest in some handcrafted souvenirs. 

Move on to the impressive Pisac ruins (3300 mts/10826.8 ft). The tour will take you around superimposed terraces, ceremonial baths, a residential settlement, and the largest Inca cemetery. 

End the day with dinner reservations in the quaint town of Urubamba (2871 mts/9419.3 ft). After eating, take the opportunity to indulge in one of the many spa treatments on offer, or talk to your View Peru guide for some other recommendations for you and your loved one.

Day 04

Keeping love and adventure in the heights (B, L, D)

After a delicious breakfast, we will pick you up and take you to Pachar town (2890 mts/9481.6 ft). Your tour will begin with a safety briefing from our expert instructors, who will tell you about the necessary security procedures and recommendations.

Then, it is time to start our Via Ferrata activity. Climb up 400 meters/1312.3 feet using iron ladders, while enjoying the amazing views. Via Ferrata is a permanently installed system, allowing you to cross the spectacular mountain valley using less equipment.

Continuing with this experience, descend down through the Sacred Valley, using 6 zipline wires (measuring from 150 to 700 mts/492 to 2296.6 ft the longest). 

After this adrenaline-fuelled experience, we will head towards Ollantaytambo town (2792 mts/9160.1 ft) to have a delightful lunch, prepared with ingredients locally grown in the Sacred Valley.

Later, return to your Sacred Valley hotel for a leisurely afternoon with your partner. You can indulge in one of the many spa treatments, or ask your View Peru guide for other recommendations.

In the evening, enjoy a charming and romantic dinner in the valley, soaking in the fresh air and calm atmosphere.

Day 05

Sacred Valley – Km 82 – Tarayoc – Wayllabamba (B, L, D)

As soon as you finish breakfast at your hotel, our guide will privately transport you to the Inca Trail starting point, Km 82. Before you arrive at your destination, you will have a quick stop at Ollantaytambo town (2792 mts/9160.1 ft) for any last-minute supplies or a bathroom break.

Next, drive on for another 40 minutes until we reach Km 82 or Piscacucho (2675 mts/8776.3 ft). You are ready to start your adventure! If you require walking sticks, please ask in advance, and we will be more than happy to provide them.

The tour begins by passing through diverse archaeological sites and rich vegetation. After 4 hours hiking, we will arrive at the Tarayoc site (2675 mts/8776.3 ft), where you can relax and enjoy lunch.

The hike continues for 2 hours, towards the village of Wayllabamba (2970 mts/9744.1 ft) where your luxurious campsite will be waiting. Before dinner, refresh yourselves with a hot shower, then pass by our massage tent if you wish. Then visit the dining tent, to experience a gourmet dinner prepared by one of our best chefs. Your bedroom tent will be waiting for you, so enjoy a comfortable night, surrounded by nature.

    •  Inca trail spaces sell out very quickly and require to be purchased at least 4 months in advance. If there are no spaces available, then we can offer you alternate routes that also lead to Machu Picchu. Please consult with your travel specialist so we can find the best option for you.

 

Day 06

Wayllabamba – Llulluchapampa – Pacaymayo (B, L, D)

After a wholesome breakfast, we will begin with a 1.5-hour hike heading Ravine of Ayapata (3328 mts/10918.7 ft), as we climb over the ravine the environment changes to a forest with a stream of transparent waters running aside the path, as another 3 hours passed while resting periodically in different spots, so you can always catch your breath until we reach Llulluchapampa (3760 mts/12335.9) here we will have an exquisite picnic lunch while appreciating amazing views of the vegetation and the humid Andean forest; also from here we will see a hint of Warmiwañusca Pass well known as the Death Woman’s Pass due to its appearance of a woman lying on her side.

We will follow the trail walking up for about 2.5 hours to reach the top of the Warmiwañusca Pass located at 4215 mts/13828.7 ft., the path was made of a group of cobbled steps created to protect the mountains from erosion. It is important to walk at a pace most desirable for you, stopping whenever you prefer as this might be demanding for you but will be worth it. At your arrival, we will appreciate from above the vast travelled path and on the other front the Pacaymayo ravine, with the help of your guide you will be able to take some heroic and most romantic photos as you had accomplished the highest point of our adventure.

Following the trail, we will start descending towards Pacaymayo Ravine for 2 hours more and arrive at Pacaymayo campsite (3500 mts/11482.9 ft) at last. For a second time in a row, our hot shower and massage tent will be at your entire disposal, at dinner time you will be able to share your fantastic photos with your guide and then relish in your bedroom tent for a restful and soundly sleep.

Day 07

Pacaymayo – Chaquicocha – Phuyupatamarca (B, L, D)

After a restful night, enjoy a 30-40 minute yoga session lead by our therapists, on the tranquil ravine and impressive mountains. Come back for a warm shower and a nourishing breakfast. Be ready for a 1-hour hike through the paved and well-maintained slope to the ruins of Runkurakay.

Following the path for another hour approx. we will reach the Second Pass called Runkurakay as well (3955 mts/12975.7 ft). This is essentially a platform, where you can see most of the Inca trail. 

Descend for about 1 hour, past a picturesque lake. The road will become tight and zigzag-shaped until we reach the extraordinary Inca Town of Sayacmarca (3585 mts/11761.8 ft) After a short but informative explanation from our guide, the descending continues for an hour to Chaquicocha (3535 mts/11597.8 ft), where we will enjoy a well-prepared lunch.

Continue the hike along the incredibly and well-preserved path to Phuyupatamarca Pass (3640 mts/11942.3 ft), we will go through a little tunnel made of stone; a few meters along is our next official campsite called Phuyupatamarca (3670 mts/12040.7 ft).

Upon arrival, enjoy a warm shower before another relaxing massage, before you head on to the dining tent for your fabulous gourmet meal that is waiting. Since is the last night accompanied by all of our crew, we highly recommend you to share a final toast all together, Salud!

Day 08

Phuyupatamarca - Machu Picchu - Aguas Calientes – Poroy - Cusco (B, L, D)

Until here we only hope that you have enjoyed all the beautiful hike with your true side by side, and as this day requires one last effort of waking up very early to have a nourishing breakfast at 04:30 am approx. and follow the ultimate part of the hike.

After about a 3-hour hike we will arrive at the Wiñaywayna archaeological site (2650 mts/8694.2 ft) named after the beautiful orchid that grows in the area and which means “Forever Young”, the route goes through steep stairs for about 1.5 hours until we finally reach the Sun’s Gate or Intipunku (2750 mts/9022.3 ft) at this point we will fully understand why the hike is worth every step of the way. We will be rewarded with astonishing views of Machu Picchu and surroundings while the sunrise begins, take into every detail of this majestic place. Following this dreamy spectacle, we will start the most important hike down to Machu Picchu for another hour.

Finally, we will crown our journey arriving in the citadel of Machu Picchu (2430 mts/7972.4 ft). For this last part, our expert guide will provide full disclosure of everything about the magnificent history behind this World Wonder. Enjoy accompanied by your guide to uncovering all its enigmas, secrets and theories about its spectacular construction and environment. Once all your doubts have been answered and taking all the perfect photos you will have some time to explore the citadel at your leisure.

When completing your tour, an exquisite lunch at Belmond Sanctuary Lodge hotel will be waiting for you. Later as you finish your lunch, we will head back to Aguas Calientes town just in time to board the train back to Cusco.

Upon arrival, our View Peru representative will be waiting to take you to your romantic and selected hotel. When you have settled in, take the time to gather up on rest for the evening and relax and unwind at your leisure. Please take in mind that these hikes are unguided, require an additional cost and involve starting the hike at 03:00 am on the 8th day, our suggestion is to spend and additional night at Aguas Calientes and then have any of these hikes on the following morning. Day 09

Heartwarming date in the outskirts of Cusco and romantic horse ride (B, L, D)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then spend the morning as you wish, relaxing after you trek. 

Our first activity of the day is a romantic picnic lunch, filled with relaxation, disconnection, and affection. We will drive you to our perfect handpicked location, where everything is already set up. This includes deluxe crockery, wine glasses and fresh flowers, in addition to all our delectable delicacies.

Once this fabulous meal is finished, our guide will meet you to transfer you to the Archaeological Site of Sacsayhuaman (3700 mts/12139.1 ft) for a tour.

Afterwards, we will move towards the archaeological site of Qenqo (3580 mts/11745.4 ft) in ancient times was a sacred place to worship the Inca gods. 

Our next stop is a very exciting horse ranch. Start the horseback riding tour in Sacsayhuaman, which lasts about an hour. Appreciate the landscape, some recent excavations, and spot some llamas and alpacas. 

The ride will end at the ranch , where you will be transferred to the archaeological sites of Tambomachay (3700 mts/12139.1 ft), and Puca Pukara (3680 mts/12073.5 ft) After this informative tour, we will return you to your hotel.

Enjoy your night at this charming city at a very special restaurant, with a farewell dinner as you embrace your last moments in the magical city of Cusco.

Day 10

Taking love to another level (B, BXL, D)

The journey for today will take us to the highlands of Puno. After your wholesome breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Cusco airport where you will catch a short flight to Juliaca (3825 mts/12549.2 ft). Once you have arrived, you will be greeted by another friendly representative and start your journey towards Puno.

On the way you will appreciate the typical landscapes of the area, after a short ride, we will reach Sillustani (3900 mts/12795.3 ft) which is known as the largest necropolis in South America. Our well-informed guide will give us an extensive explanation about the Qolla culture as its beliefs regarding life after death while you walk through the "Chullpas" massive funeral towers and other buildings of pre-Inca and Inca periods. Sillustani is strategically located next to the Umayo lagoon that has precious grasslands and a reserve of graceful vicuñas. Take pleasure in the uniqueness of this beautiful site and capture this moment with photos next to your dear one.

Afterwards, we will head to your hotel in Puno (3827 mts/12555.8 ft). By the evening you will enjoy a lovely dinner at your hotel. Enjoy savoring Andean flavors while sharing your impressions with your partner.

Day 11

Conveying love on kayak across the mesmerizing Titicaca Lake (B, L, D)

Today is an exciting day as you will navigate through the highest passable lake in the word along with your life partner in the best way possible – on Kayak! Get your energy levels up with a filling breakfast, then take a short boat ride to our first stop - the floating reed islands of Uros (3810 mts/12500.0 ft) here we will observe the daily life and tradition of the Uros community. The islands are built with the reed plant that grows in the lake: totora. The totora is also used to build houses, boats, and of course, the islands themselves which are 30 to 40 cm thicker!

Continuing with the trip, you will be given a briefing with the instructions on how the kayaks. We will start rowing along Titicaca Lake to the Capachica Peninsula, during our journey we will observe gorgeous landscapes and solo rural villages living out of the lake. After paddling for about 3 hours, we will arrive at the Llachon area (3860 mts/12664.0 ft) here we will walk for a short distance towards our lovely local home to enjoy of a delicious lunch made with typical local products. After lunch, the local family will teach us how they made their handicrafts and amazing handmade textiles. It will also be a great opportunity to practice some Spanish and learn Quechua phrases.

Later on and after having an eye-opener conversation, we must say goodbye to our lovely family and walk back to the port from where we will return to Puno to take pleasure of an amazing dinner watching the sunset over the sparkling lake.
